Jack R. Clarey
Jack Clarey is a highly experienced executive search consultant who
established Jack Clarey Associates, Inc., now Clarey Andrews & Klein,
Inc., in 1982. Since 1974, he has been recruiting senior level executive
talent for clients in a broad range of industries. Before forming the
firm, he was a Vice President and an equity partner with Heidrick and
Struggles, a large international executive search firm.
From 1972 to 1974 he worked as
a Financial Analyst for Ford Motor Company. He then joined Price
Waterhouse as a consultant in financial planning and control. Shortly
afterwards he moved into executive search where he earned a promotion to
Manager a year later and managed the Midwest Region search practice.

He served to Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy, first as Operations Officer
on a minesweeper, then as an advisor on a Vietnamese gunboat where he was
awarded a Bronze Star with Combat "V” for valor, and later as an intelligence
officer stationed at Pearl Harbor.
He has served on the board of directors of the Association of Executive
Search Consultants as well as other not-for-profit boards.
He earned his BS degree in Industrial Administration from Iowa State
University in 1965, followed by an MBA in Finance from the University of
Pennsylvania's Wharton School in 1972. |
